Description
Subtitled "Two voluntaries for solemn and festive occasions," these works by David Ashley White and Alfred V. Fedak (two of Selah's longest-associated composers) were written for the wedding of their goddaughter Eliza--the daughter of Selah's founders, David & Virginia Schaap. White's "An Expressive Melody" is grand and broad (based on his original hymn tune ELIZABETH ROSE) with the stately melody heard on a trumpet stop. Fedak’s "Recessional Toccata" is an ebullient postlude driven by active pedal flourishes.
