Description The words of the the medieval mystic and abbess Julian of Norwich form the basis for this fine work by Hal Hopson. Though written in a style reminiscent of English cathedral music, the piece is not difficult, as the organ part supports the voices throughout. The opening section may be assigned to a soprano soloist.

Anthem text
God, in your goodness give me yourself,
for you are sufficient for me.
I cannot properly ask for anything less,
to be worthy of you.
If I were to ask less,
I should always be in want.
In you alone do I have all.
God, in your goodness give me yourself.
Amen.

-Julian of Norwich (1342-1433)
