Review
"'Triptych' is a three-movement dialogue featuring a set of variations on a ground bass, a gentle setting of the hymn tune ROCHELLE or SEELENBRAUTIGAM, and a lively, dance-like finale. The music is not difficult and could be used as separate sections during a service. Separate parts are included for B-flat and C trumpet." --AAM Journal, July/August 2010

Description
A very accessible three-movement dialogue for trumpet and organ. It features a set of variations on a ground bass, a gentle setting of the hymn tune ROCHELLE (also known as SEELENBRAUTIGAM: "Bridegroom of the Soul"), and a fiery, dance-like finale. Not at all difficult, but striking in its effect, the work is suitable for performance at concerts and at church services.

I. Passacaglia
II. Hymn
III. Introduction and Sword Dance (Basse et dessus de Trompette) [may be titled "Introduction and Finale" for use in church services!]

Playable even by a decent high-school trumpet player. The score includes a reproducible trumpet score (so you don't have to ever worry about them losing it!).
