II. Dance

Description
A lyrical Pastorale and a lively, energetic Dance that will become a staple in every bassoonist’s repertoire. Includes organ score and bassoon part that may be photocopied for instrumentalist.

Review
"Here is a welcome entry to the repertory for other instruments with organ. The unique color of the bassoon is well matched here. The organ part is not that difficult, though there is one bassoon run in the Pastorale that has to be carefully executed. One will want to have a good bassoon player for this piece--at least a college bassoon major. There is just enough upper register work here--if you know anything about bassoon fingering, it is a bit tricky in the upper register. This is a good piece that needs to be heard." --The Journal of the Association of Anglican Musicians, February/March 2008
