Description
The title “Pahdo” is the Korean word for wave. This largely quiet, energetic piece mains a flow from beginning to end. Although the flow is constant, like real waves in nature, the textures of them vary considerably. Through subtle registration colors, the musical material is shaped into a true ebb and flow. A full, colorful climax is reached in the middle before the waves draft off again quietly. A superb selection for a recital or even a service prelude.
