Anthem text
We enter, Lord and are at home
already in your house.
May we, by knowing why we come,
put it to Christian use.
Here, Lord, the newlyborn
receive into your earthly fold,
that, growing up, we may believe,
and rest in you when old.
Here, shall your living word be read,
interpreted and taught;
so we, by your wise Spirit led,
may serve you as we ought.
Here has your Cross a central place
in sacrament and sign;
here we shall meet you face to face
in broken bread and wine.
And here shall are, inspired by you
in what we hear and see,
help us to understand the true,
yet keep its mystery.
Your consecrated people now,
Lord, cleanse us from our sins,
that endless good may ever flow
from what this day begins.
We enter, Lord, and are at home
already in your house.
