Blessed woman with a voice of joy--
blessed is the child that she will bear.
When the word of God is met by trust,
there is blessing, there are leaps of joy.
Blessed be the God of Israel,
who has looked with kindness on his own,
raising up a Savior sent for us;
now the prophets’ words have come to pass.
By the tender mercy of our God,
dawn will come and be more than the sun;
hope will break the night of deepest dark,
and our feet will walk the way of peace.
