Reviews
"The Hymn's own editor David W. Music has three new handbell compositions from Selah Publishing Co. 'Of the Father's Love Begotten (845-102, $2.00) is a gentle setting of the chant Divinum Mysterium for two octaves and one optional additional bell. A note indicates that the piece may also be played by a handbell quartet." The Hymn, October 1995

"There are no bell changes in this arrangement. It can be played by a quartet if you are short on ringers. The difficulty lies solely in the meter changes from 4/4 to 3/4 to 7/8, etc., just as the chant tune dictates." Pastoral Music, October/November 1997.

Description
David Music takes this familiar 13th century plainsong and fashions an appealing and respectful setting. Excellent as a hymn prelude or on its own. Playable by a quartet.
