Anthem text
Love flows from God
into us effortlessly,
as a bird glides through the air
without moving its wings.
Thus we move in God’s world,
united in body and soul.
As the Source makes a sound,
all humanity sings!
--Mechtild of Magdeburg
(ca. 1207–1282/94), tr. and alt. |
