David Charles Walker
David Charles Walker (1938-2018) was an organist/choirmaster turned Episcopal priest. He worked as a priest in a number of parishes, as a hospital chaplain, as a teacher at seminary/college, and as an organist/choirmaster, serving many people through his long career. As a composer, he is well-known for his hymn tune GENERAL SEMINARY, a setting of the George Herbert text, "King of Glory, King of Peace."
