"There are not as many pieces that use the hymn tune CORONATION as one might think. Wayne Wold's new partita helps fill this gap in the repertoire. Of the five movements, the "Intrada," "Adagio," and "Trumpet Finale" will get the most mileage--for their appeal as well as the flexibility to extract them as stand-alone movements. The work is easy to moderate in difficulty, due mostly to the manual parts (the pedal part requires only modest pedal technique). Recommended." --Cross Accent, Fall 2001
