“Dutch composer Richard Kroes (1926-2008) might not be known to many of us in AAM. He was the organist of St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church in Eindhove, the Netherlands, and he taught organ, harmony, and church music at music schools in Eindhoven and Geldrop. His prelude on ADESTE FIDELES, ‘Prelude on “O Come, All Ye Faithful,”’ is not terribly difficult, though there are some spots that will need practice. After a quiet opening the music builds into a toccata for full organ.” –AAM Journal, September 2010
