Description
This is an incredible piece for ogan duo, based on the solemn, dark, and poignant tune Langham by Geoffrey Shaw. It's not easy (if you've ever heard Neswick's improvisations, you understand why), and it's not short, but you won't find a better or more exciting piece to work on with another good organist. Composed in five movements: a fiery Prelude, Chorale, Scherzo, a tender Aria, and ending with a Toccata. A significant addition to the repertory for organ duet, and it may even be effectively performed on two-manual instruments. Oblong format.
